Torturing students: Principal of Millaniya Primary College remanded

Principal of Millaniya Primary School in Horana and two police officers were remanded until 16 November by Colombo Additional Magistrate Keminda Perera.

The Principal and the Deputy Principal and three Police officers were arrested after summoning them to the National Child Protection Authority today.

They are accused of electrocuting and torturing three students of the school over the suspicion of stealing money from a teacher’s purse
