Keheliya questioned by CID on Substandard Vaccine Imports

Former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella appeared before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) this morning (April 9). He was summoned to provide a statement regarding the alleged importation of substandard immunoglobulin vaccines.

According to the CID, Rambukwella was questioned in connection with several Cabinet decisions related to the procurement of these vaccines.

The former minister was previously remanded for seven months over the matter and was later released on bail.
