Susil Premajayantha stripped from State Minister portfolio

State Minister portfolios of Susil Premajayantha have been removed with immediate effect, by the powers vested with the President, the President’s Media Division said this morning (4).

Premajayantha was the State Minister of Education Reforms, Open Universities and Distance Learning Promotion.

Premajayantha who represent SLFP, has criticized the conduct of the government in recent times, along with several SLFP members including State Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara.
