Russia grants USD 5.5 million for SL nutrition projects

Russia has granted USD 5.5 million to Sri Lanka through World Food Programme (WFP) yrecently, the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka said.

These funds will be used for improvement of nutritional status of school children in the country.

The Embassy said that the donation had been done in line with Russia’s policy of strengthening corporatiob with Sri Lanka in the interest of sustainable development.
