Ranjith Siyambalapitiya re-elected as Deputy Speaker

Ranjith Siyambalapitiya was re-elected as the Deputy Speaker of Parliament on Today (05).

Nimal Siripala de Silva nominated Ranjith Siyambalapitiya from the SLFP group for the post of Deputy Speaker and it was seconded by Susil Premajayantha.

The Opposition nominated Imtiaz Bakeer.

The General Secretary of the Sri Lanka People’s Front Sagara Kariyawasam has stated that the ruling party will support Ranjith Siyambalapitiya who has been nominated by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
