Prisons Media Spokesman Hands Over Resignation Letter

Media Spokesperson for the Department of Prisons, Gamini B. Dissanayake  has submitted his resignation from the position to the Acting Prisons Commissioner.

The resignation comes in light of the current controversy surrounding the unlawful release of an inmate from the Anuradhapura Prison through the abuse of a Presidential pardon.
