Sri Lanka has recorded a significant influx of tourists in the first five days of 2025, with a total of 39,415 visitors arriving between January 1 and 5, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
The highest number of arrivals came from Russia, with 6,481 visitors, followed by India with 6,183 tourists. Other key contributors included the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and the United States.
