Hejaaz Hizbullah denied bail, once again

The Puttalam High Court refused to grant bail to detained lawyer Hejaaz Hizbullah, a short while ago.

He was arrested by the CID on 14 April 2020 under the PTA, for allegedly “aiding and abetting” the Easter Sunday bombers and for engaging in activities deemed “detrimental to the religious harmony among communities”.
