Easter Sunday attacks: Sirisena’s petition dismissed by Court

Appeal petition by former President Maithripala Sirisena asking to release him from compensation cases filed against him by the Easter attack victims dismissed by the Western Province Civil Appeals High Court.

Sirisena in his appeal sought an order to release him from the cases filed by 128 families of those who were injured, permanently disabled and prejudiced by the Easter Sunday attacks 2019.
