Diana’s travel ban lifted temporarily

The Colombo Chief Magistrate ordered to lift the travel ban imposed on State Minister Diana Gamage temporarily for five days.

Gamage’s attorney Sarath Jayamanna PC requested the Court to relax the travel ban on her as she is expecting to go abroad between 21 – 23 December.

The travel ban against Gamage was imposed in connection with a magisterial inquiry into a complaint that she had obtained a Sri Lankan passport after providing false information to the Controller General of Immigration and Emigration
