Consideration of petition to delay LG Poll postponed to May

Consideration of the Writ Petition filed by a retired Army Colonel to delay Local Government Election was postponed by Supreme Court until 11 May 2023.

The LG Poll is scheduled to be held on 9 March.

Meanwhile, 9 Petition have been filed with the Supreme Court seeking an order to invalidate the preparations being made for the Local Government Election postponed to 11 May.
