Communist Party terminates Raja Kollure’s party chairmanship

The Communist Party of Sri Lanka has decided to terminate the party Chairmanship of North Western Province Governor Raja Kollure.

In a statement, the CPSL said that the proposal made regarding the matter of Kollure’s party chairmanship was approved at the party’s politburo meeting which was held today (24).

Kollure was placed in hot water after his recent statement to deduct salaries of teachers and principals who engage in trade union action over decade-long salary anomalies.
