Chamuditha’s house attacked by unidentified group

Journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrama’s house in Piliyandala came under attack early this morning by an unidentified group, reportedly arrived in a white van.

There were allegedly four men in the group and they had worn masks and had weapons in their hands. They had allegedly threatened the security guard at the house complex by putting a gun to his head.

Samarawickrama’s house had been pelted with stones and according to the journalist he had heard multiple gun shots as well.

The Police had arrived at the scene shortly after Samarawickrama informed the assault to them.
