Cardinal’s Statement on Channel-4 Video

His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, the Archbishop of Colombo, urges all citizens of the country to consider the revelations presented in a documentary released by Britain’s Channel-4 regarding the 2019 Easter bombings.

He emphasized that the focus should be given to the factual content of the program, rather than dwelling on the past conduct of the said channel.

Furthermore, the Archbishop called for an impartial investigation into the issues brought to light by this documentary.

He stressed the necessity of suspending the services of high-ranking officials under investigation until the relevant inquiries conclude.
