Breaking: Supreme Court orders Treasury to release funds for LG Poll

Supreme Court has issued an interim order to the Treasury Secretary and the Attorney General, preventing withholding of funds allocated for elections through the budget 2023.

This order was given when the FR Petition of SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara was taken into the consideration.

Another interim order was issued preventing withholding of funds for the Government Printer.
