40,000 MT of rice via Co-Op Outlets at a lower price

Commissioner General of Essential Services K.D.S Ruwan Chandra has decided to sell 40,000 MT of rice owned by the Paddy Marketing Board through cooperatives from today (17).

Commissioner General stated that steps have been taken to sell Nadu, Kekulu, and Samba rice through Co-Operative Outlets.

Accordingly, rice will be sold to the public at a lower price than the current maximum retail price.
