24-Hour Passport Service: Notice from Immigration Dept

The 24-hour passport issuance service provided by the Department of Immigration and Emigration will now be limited to a one-day service, according to the Acting Controller of Immigration and Emigration.

Applicants can register for the one-day service between 6:00 AM and 12:00 noon from Monday to Friday, with passports being issued on the same day.

The 24-hour service was introduced on February 18, 2025, as a government initiative to reduce delays in passport processing. However, the department has decided to revise the service to ensure smoother operations and efficiency.
